                     not directing the respondent to return the driving license of the
                     appellant forthwith.

                                               JUDGEMENT

Mr.S.Arunachalam, learned Counsel appearing for the

appellant seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ

Appeal. However, the learned counsel submitted that the

respondent may be directed to conduct an enquiry and pass orders

within a period of two weeks.

2.Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing

for the respondent has no objection in giving such direction.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel

appearing on either side, this Writ Appeal stands dismissed as

withdrawn. We direct the respondent to conduct an enquiry and

pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt

of explanation to be given by the appellant. No costs.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
