This petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate,

Melur to complete the trial in STC.No.9 of 2020 and pronounce the

Judgment within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner filed a complaint for the offence under

Sections 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act. The grievance of the

petitioner is that the case is still pending for the cross examination of the

PW.1 and it has been repeatedly adjourned for the following dates viz.,

20.04.2021, 13.05.2021, 05.08.2021, 19.08.2021, 23.09.201 and

28.10.2021 for cross examination of PW.1.

3. Considering the grievance of the petitioner, without

expressing any opinion on merits, there shall be a direction to the learned

Judicial Magistrate, Melur to dispose of STC.No.9 of 2020 pending on its

file, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

order. After disposing, the same must be submitted to the Registry of this

Court.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is

disposed of.
