                     Court's Act to punish the respondent for their wilful and deliberate
                     disobedience of the positive directions passed by this Court in
                     W.P.No.26671 of 2019 dated 15.10.2019.

                                                     ORDER

                                   Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 02.07.2021, the

                     contemnor is virtually present through Video Conferencing.



                                   2.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the contemnor

                     had filed an affidavit sworn by Mr.M.P.Sivanarul, Inspector General of

                     Registration, Government of Tamilnadu, wherein it is stated that the

                     issue regarding extension of concessional benefit of stamp duty for

                     settlement executed by the grand children in favour of grand parent has

                     been referred to a Larger Bench by the Hon'ble Mr.Justice

                     P.D.Audikesavalu vide order dated 21.02.2020.



                                   3.On perusing the said order, this Court finds that while

                     extracting conflict judgments in this regard by various Benches of this

                     Court, the learned Judge has also referred W.A.No.85 of 2015, Inspector

                     of Registration and Chief Revenue Controlling Authority vs

                     R.Santhosh.



                                   4. This Court while passing the order dated 15.10.2019 had

                     relied upon the above said Division Bench order and allowed the writ

                     petition. Now, having brought to the notice of this Court by the learned

                     Government Advocate that the legal issue has been referred to a Larger

                     Bench and the Larger Bench is also constituted headed by the Hon'ble

                     Mr.Justice M.M.Sundresh, it is appropriate for this Court to close the

                     contempt. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. The connected

                     Sub Application is closed.
