PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of
India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for
the records of the impugned order in C.No.B2/7332/2016 dated
07.09.2018 issued by the respondent and to quash the same as
illegal and consequently, direct the respondent to reinstate the
petitioner in service, in the light of the judgment dated 16.02.2015
of the Hon'ble Apex Court reported in 2015 (3) CTC 119 and also
another latest judgment of the Apex Court in Civil Appeal No.8427-
8428 dated 21.08.2018 in the case of State of Tamil Nadu rep. by
Secretary to Government (Home) Vs. Promod Kumar, IPS and
Another.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition is heard through Video Conferencing
today.
2. The petitioner herein has challenged the order of
suspension on the ground of prolonged suspension.
3. Though the petitioner has raised several grounds
challenging the order of suspension, the learned counsel for the
petitioner made an earnest request that he would be satisfied if the
respondent is directed to reconsider the petitioner's request for
revocation of the suspension order. Request made by the petitioner
seems to be reasonable. Accordingly, liberty is granted to the
petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent seeking
for revocation of the suspension order, within a period of two weeks
from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the
same, the respondent shall consider it on its own merits and take
appropriate course of action in accordance with law, within a period
of two weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh representation.

4. The Writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There
shall be no order as to costs.
