There is no representation on behalf of the appellant / writ petitioner.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Government

and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Aruppukottai Municipality

submitted that the fifth respondent died on 02.07.2018 and that the appellant /

writ petitioner has been promoted. Therefore, nothing survives for further

adjudication in this writ appeal.
