PRAYER : Criminal Revision Case filed, filed under Section 397 and 401 of
the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, prayed to set aside the impugned
summon issued under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. dated 22.11.2014 on the file of
the 1st respondent.

JUDGMENT
This Criminal Revision case is preferred against the summons
issued by the 1st respondent for appearance of the petitioners to conduct
enquiry on 22.11.2014, for offences under Section 145 of the Criminal
Procedure Code, before the Court of Sub-Divisional Magistrate,Tirupur.
2. Heard, Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side)
appearing for the respondents.

3. As per the facts, the 1st respondent passed an order dated
22.11.2014, by invoking Sections 145 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which
would be valid for a year. Based upon that, summon was sent on 22.11.2014
to the petitioners for appearing enquiry on 24.11.2014.
4. As discussed above, the proceedings of the 1st respondent is
valid for only one year. Against the issuance of the summons, the Criminal
Revison Petition is filed in the year 2014 itself. Hence, the relief claimed by
the petitioners in this revision has become infructuous.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed as
infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No
Costs.
