                                                           ORDER

The petition is filed seeking a direction to call for the records in

C.C.No.696 of 2014 pending on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate

No.I, Vellore and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) appearing

for the first respondent submits that after trial in C.C.No.696 of 2014 , by

judgment dated 28.11.2018 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate

No.III, Vellore District, the accused/petitioner herein was acquitted from

the criminal case. The statement of the learned Additional Public

Prosecutor is hereby recorded. There is nothing survives for further

adjudication and the relief sought for in this petition has become

infructuous.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional

Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent/police, the

Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the

connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
