                                                                   ORDER

1. The petitioner is claiming pension with interest. The petitioner was appointed on the post of Gangman in the year 1978. He retired from service on 28.02.2006. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has not been granted pension though petitioner has served for 28 years. In support of his submission the petitioner has relied on the judgment passed by the Division Bench in W.A. No.827/2019 (Pannalal V/s. Public Works

Department and Others) and other connected matters.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents/State argued that the petitioner has already retired long back in the year 2006 and the petition has been filed after more than 19 years. The petitioner cannot claim the aforesaid benefits on the basis of these judgments.

3. After hearing learned counsel for the parties without adverting to

2 WP-31016-2025 the rival submissions raised by the parties the present petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh detailed and comprehensive representation before the competent authority within a period of 15 days from today and if such representation is filed, the same shall be considered and decided by the competent authority in accordance with law within a period of 60 days from the date of filing of the representation by passing a reasoned and a speaking order.

4. With the aforesaid, the petition stands disposed off.
