      This petition coming on for admission this day, th e court passed the
following:

                                      ORDER

1. The instant contempt petition is against alleged non-compliance of order dated 17.08.2023 passed in W.P. No.1014/2023.

2. It is the grievance of petitioner that he is a Time Keeper in Water Resources Department and is seeking benefits as per the judgment passed by this Court in A.L. Thakur and R.K. Lakhera which have been discussed in the order passed by this Court in writ petition.

3. On close scrutiny, it appears that two months time was given to the respondents to consider the case and immediately thereafter petitioner approached this Court. It appears that petitioner was just waiting to complete

the two months and ventured into filing contempt petition. He could have waited for some more time as the State Government might have been preoccupied in the election proceedings.

4. Resultantly, this contempt petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to comply the order dated 17.08.2023 passed in W.P. No.1414/2023 in letter and spirit as per the time stipulated into it.

5. Contempt petition stands disposed of accordingly.
