Shri Manoj Dwivedi, learned counsel for the respondent/IDA. Shri Yogesh Mittal, learned counsel for the respondent no.3. This batch of writ petitions is posted today for consideration of the plea related to Section 24(2) of the Act of 2013.

In view of the settled legal position as regards scope, limit and dimension of Section 24(2) of the Act of 2013 as reiterated in the judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in (2020) 8 SCC 129[Indore Development Authority Vs. Manoharlal and Others], subject matter of dispute prima-facie is no more res-integra, particularly in the light

of para 366 of the judgment (supra).

However, learned counsel for the petitioners are at loss to state that these writ petitions were filed prior to judgment rendered by Hon'ble Supreme Court and, therefore, they may be granted time to seek instructions.

Prayer is opposed by the other side with the submission that these writ petitions can be disposed of in the light of law laid down by Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Indore Development Authority(supra).

However, in the interest of justice, hearing is deferred for a week. List this batch of writ petitions alongwith connected contempt petitions in the week commencing 25.10.2021.
