By the instant petition, the petitioners are challenging the orders passed by the Revenue authorities whereby the entries of revenue records were

corrected without giving any opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.

Although, petitioners have filed a civil suit for declaration and injunction in respect of the same land. The civil suit has been dismissed and the appeal preferred against the said judgment and decree of the Civil Court has also been dismissed. The second appeal is also pending before the High Court.

Under such a circumstance when the dispute in respect of title of the land in question is pending before the High Court, I am not inclined to entertain this petition. However, it is made clear that if ultimately declaration is

made in favour of the petitioners declaring them to the owners of the land, the revenue records can be corrected accordingly because order of the Civil Court will prevail over the order of the revenue authority.

With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed of.
