​J U D G M E N T​

​This petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:​

​a)​ t​o​ ​issue​ ​writ​ ​of​ ​mandamus​ ​or​ ​other​ ​appropriate​ ​writ,​​order​​or​ ​direction,​ ​directing​ ​respondents​ ​1​ ​to​ ​3​ ​to​ ​include​ ​petitioner​ ​institute​​name​​in​​the​​list​​of​​ITls​​in​​Ernakulam​​District​​in​​Ext.P9​ ​and​​P10​​and​​to​​appoint​​the​​4th​​respondent​​as​​Nodal​​Officer​​to​ ​supervise​​and​​close​​the​​admission​​of​​students​​already​​admitted​ ​and to be admitted in petitioner institute during 2019-2021;​

​b)​ ​to​​issue​​a​​writ​​of​​mandamus​​or​​other​​appropriate​​writ​​order​​or​ ​direction,​ ​directing​ ​the​ ​4th​ ​respondent​ ​to​ ​take​ ​steps​ ​to​ ​close​ ​admission​ ​of​ ​the​ ​students​ ​admitted​ ​and​ ​to​ ​be​ ​admitted​ ​in​ ​petitioner​ ​institute​ ​for​ ​the​ ​ITI​ ​courses,​ ​during​ ​2019-2021.​ ​by​ ​following​ ​the​ ​directions​ ​contained​ ​in​ ​Ext.P4​ ​and​ ​P6​ ​to​ ​P8​ ​interim​ ​orders​ ​and​ ​Ext.P5​ ​office​ ​memorandum​ ​issued​ ​by​ ​the​ ​Central Government;​

​c)​ ​to​​issue​​a​​writ​​of​​mandamus​​or​​other​​appropriate​​writ​​order​​or​ ​direction,​ ​directing​ ​respondents​ ​1​ ​to​​3​​to​​permit​​the​​petitioner​ ​to​ ​continue​ ​the​ ​functioning​ ​of​ ​petitioner​ ​ITI​ ​based​ ​on​ ​Ext.Pl​ ​permanent​ ​affiliation,​ ​Ext.P3​ ​judgment​ ​and​ ​Ext.P5​ ​office​ ​memorandum;​

​d)​ ​to​​issue​​a​​writ​​of​​mandamus​​or​​other​​appropriate​​writ​​order​​or​ ​direction,​ ​directing​ ​respondents​ ​to​ ​include​ ​petitioner​ ​institute​ ​name​ ​in​ ​the​ ​list​ ​of​ ​ITls​ ​in​ ​Ernakulam​ ​District​ ​in​ ​the​ ​yearly​ ​prospectus;​ ​as​ ​well​ ​as​ ​in​​the​​office​​orders​​issued​​from​​time​​to​ ​time,​ ​appointing​ ​Nodal​ ​Officer​ ​to​ ​close​ ​ITI​ ​admissions​ ​in​ ​petitioner institute.​

​2.​ ​It​ ​appears​ ​that​ ​when​ ​the​ ​matter​ ​had​ ​come​​up​​for​​consideration​ ​2025:KER:76747​

​4​ ​WP(C) No. 42 of 2021​

​on​ ​05.01.2021,​ ​an​ ​interim​ ​order​​was​​passed​​by​​this​​Court,​​directing​​the​​4th​ ​respondent​​to​​close​​the​​admission​​of​​the​​students​​already​​admitted​​and​​to​​be​ ​admitted​ ​in​ ​the​ ​petitioner​ ​institution​ ​for​ ​the​ ​ITI​ ​course​ ​2020-2021/ensuing​ ​academic year.​

​3.​ ​Sri.​ ​M.R.​ ​Anison,​ ​the​ ​learned​ ​counsel,​ ​submits​ ​that​​in​​view​​of​ ​the interim order, nothing further survives.​

​4.​ ​We​ ​make​ ​it​ ​clear​ ​that​ ​the​ ​admission​ ​granted​ ​pursuant​ ​to​ ​the​ ​interim order dated 05.01.2021 shall not be disturbed.​

​This petition is disposed of.​
