                              JUDGMENT

Anil K. Narendran, J.

The Petitioner has filed this writ petition invoking the writ

jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of

India, seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus, commanding respondents

1 to 3 to produce before this Court the Corpus of the alleged

detenu Suhail J., aged 21 years, son of the petitioner and set him

at liberty, if it is found that he is in illegal detention.

2. On 09.05.2025, when this writ petition came up for

admission, the learned Public Prosecutor took notice for

respondents 1 to 3. Urgent notice by speed post was ordered to

respondents 4 to 6. The 3 rd respondent was directed to file a

report before this Court as to the steps taken based on Ext.P1

First Information Report No.495 of 2025 dated 29.04.2025 of

Palode Police Station, on the next posting date.

3. Today, when this writ petition is taken up for

consideration, Adv. V I.Rahul, the learned counsel appearing for

the petitioner, who appeared online, would submit that the

alleged detenu has already been traced out and he is with the

petitioner. In such circumstances, the learned counsel for the

petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition.

Based on the aforesaid submission made by the learned

counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is

dismissed as withdrawn.
