                                             JUDGMENT

The present writ petition has been filed seeking the

following reliefs:

"i). issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of Exhibit P-2 application for renewal of Exhibit P-1 regular permit in respect of stage carriage KL-33-1435 on the route Valoor Thrissur as Ordinary Service within a reasonable time limit to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court;

ii). issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of Exhibit P-3 application for 4 months temporary permit in respect of stage carriage KL-33-1435 to operate on the route Valoor Thrissur as Ordinary Service pending consideration of Exhibit P-2 application for renewal within a reasonable time limit to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court; AND

iii) grant such other reliefs as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case."

2. Considering the prayer made in the writ petition, the

1st respondent is directed to consider and take necessary WP(C) NO. 37047 OF 2024

decisions on the application for renewal of permit in Ext.P2 in

accordance with the law expeditiously, preferably within two

months.

The writ petition is disposed of with the aforementioned

directions.
