JUDGMENT
Dated this the 2nd day of November, 2024
Petitioner was prompted to approach this
Court seeking police protection on being physically
prevented from visiting his ailing mother, who was
residing with the 6th respondent. The petitioner also
complains that the 6th respondent, with the aid of the
7th respondent, is continuously threatening him.
2. Respondents 6 and 7 have not appeared,
despite service of notice.
3. When this matter is taken up for
consideration, it is submitted that the petitioner's
mother is no more.
3. Learned Government Pleader submits that
civil disputes are pending between the parties and as
of now, no law and order issues are reported. WP(C)No.23962 of 2024 2024:KER:81702
In view of the above submissions, the writ
petition is disposed of, by permitting the petitioner to
alert the Police in the event of any imminent threat
from respondents 6 and 7, and directing the Police to
take appropriate preventive action on receipt of such
information.
