                               ORDER

This Transfer Petition has been filed to transfer O.P No.25/2024

pending before the Family Court, Kattappana to the Family Court,

Muvattupuzha.

2. I have heard both sides.

3. The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is the husband

of the petitioner. The wife as well as the husband filed petitions for

divorce. The petition filed by the wife as O.P.DIV.No.1163/2023 is

pending before the Family Court, Muvattupuzha and petition filed by the

husband as O.P.No.25/2024 is pending before the Family Court,

Kattappana. The wife is a native of Kothamangalam which is closer to

Family Court, Muvattupuzha. It is settled that while considering the

transfer petition in family matters, the convenience of the wife has to be

given predominance.

Considering all these aspects, this transfer petition is allowed.

O.P.No.25/2024 pending before the Family Court, Kattappana is

withdrawn and transferred to Family Court, Muvattupuzha for trial and

disposal along with O.P.DIV No.1163/2023.
