                          ORDER

Dated this the 6th day of January, 2023

In this matter, an affidavit sworn in by the respondent,

Reshma R., aged 32, D/o.Ratnakaran, Kunnapuzha House,

Pullad P.O., Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta District, Pin-689 548

has been placed, whereby the respondent admitted receipt of

Rs.5,50,000/- (Rupees five lakh and fifty thousand only) from

the revision petitioner as full and final settlement towards

allowance of maintenance.

2. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner as

well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondent

conceded the settlement as stated in the affidavit.

3. Since the maintenance claim has been finally

settled amicably, the order impugned requires interference.

Accordingly, the order impugned herein dated 04.06.2022 in

MC No.71/2019 on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvalla RPFC NO. 248 OF 2022

stands set aside.

This revision petition stands disposed of, holding that the

respondent received maintenance by way of full and final

settlement and therefore, she could not claim any more

amount as maintenance or further maintenance in future.
