                             JUDGMENT

This Court had on 11.03.2022 admitted the writ petition

and stayed further proceedings pursuant to Exts.P1 and P2 for

a period of six weeks, on condition that the petitioners remit a

sum of Rs.4,00,000/- within one month.

When the case is taken up today, it is submitted that no

amount has been paid pursuant to the said order. Ten months

have already elapsed after the order. There is no necessity to

retain the writ petition. In such circumstances, this writ

petition is closed without prejudice to the right of the

petitioners to contest the amount demanded.
