                           JUDGMENT

Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a

direction to the respondent to correct the date of

birth of the petitioner in his passport as

25.5.1975 instead of 22.3.1970 and the place of

birth as Puthenvelikkara, Ernakulam instead of

Asanoor, Tamil Nadu.

2. Petitioner submits that he has preferred

Ext.P8 representation before the respondent in this

regard.

3. The learned DSG upon instructions submitted

that for making necessary correction as sought for,

the petitioner has to make online application and

if it is so filed, the same will be considered and

appropriate orders will be passed in accordance

with law. Thereupon, the learned counsel appearing

for the petitioner would submit that necessary

application through online will be submitted within

a period of two weeks from today. If such an

application is so uploaded through online, the

respondent shall consider the same and pass

appropriate orders in accordance with law within a

period of two months thereon.

The above Writ Petition is disposed of

accordingly.
