                                  JUDGMENT

A.Muhamed Mustaque, J.

It is submitted at the Bar that pursuant to

the directions of the learned Single Judge, the

application under Section 233 of the Kerala

Panchayath Raj Act (for short, the 'Act') is

being considered by the Panchayath Committee.

That be so, if the outcome is positive, the fresh

application for licence under Section 232 of the

Act shall be considered by the Panchayath

Secretary. That application shall be considered

without any further delay thereon. The

Panchayath committee shall consider the

application under Section 233 of the Act within

an outer limit of three weeks in the light of the

judgment of this Court in Tomy Thomas v. State of

Kerala and Others [2019 (4) KHC 553 (FB)] and

based on a positive outcome, if any, the

application for a licence shall be considered

within a further period of two weeks.

The writ appeal is disposed of as above.
