This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief:

"i) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, orders directing the respondent to cause correction of date of birth in Ext.P1 to make it consistent with the date of birth disclosed in Exts.P2 and P3."

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned

counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not pressing

the writ petition.

Therefore, writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
