                      JUDGMENT

Dated this the 6th day of July, 2022

The petitioner had been granted Ext.P2 Arms licence,

the validity period was renewed upto 31.07.2021. The

petitioner has preferred an application seeking further

renewal of the licence, which is pending consideration

before the first respondent. The limited relief sought is to

direct the first respondent to pass orders on the

application expeditiously.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and

the learned Government Pleader.

Considering the limited relief sought, the Writ Petition

is disposed of, directing the first respondent to take up

petitioner's application for renewal of Arms Licence and

pass appropriate orders thereon, within two months of

receipt of a copy of this judgment.
