01.07.2022, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:

                                  JUDGMENT

When this writ petition is taken up for consideration today the learned

counsel appearing for the petitioners would state that they have filed Ext.P10 before

the 1st respondent and prays that there may a direction to the 1 st respondent to

consider Ext.P10 and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioners. It is also

prayed that there may be a direction to the competent officer in the 1 st respondent to

hear the petitioners before a decision is taken on Ext.P10.

2. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the 1 st respondent is not

averse to such a direction being issued. Accordingly this writ petition will stand

disposed of directing a competent officer of the 1 st respondent take a decision on

Ext.P10 after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. Such a decision

shall be taken within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy

of the judgment. Till such time a decision is taken on Ext.P10, further coercive steps

shall be kept in abeyance. All contentions of the petitioners are left open.
