     This Crl.M.C coming on for orders upon perusing the application and
the letter dated 27/5/2022 from Judicial First Class Magistrate Court,
Mannarkkad and the final order dated 09/12/2021 in Crl.M.C.5080/2021 and
upon hearing the arguments of M/s.ARUN.B.VARGHESE, AISWARYA V.S. & VARNA
MANOJ, Advocates for the petitioner and the PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the
respondent, the Court passed the following:

                                        ORDER

The request has been placed on record by the

learned Magistrate seeking enlargement of time for

completing the trial of the case. As per the judgment

dated 09.12.2021, the learned Magistrate was directed

to dispose of C.C.No.147 of 2011 within a period of six

months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. It

is now pointed out that due to COVID restrictions the

proceedings could not be completed within the time

stipulated. Therefore, a further period of six months be

sought.

On perusal of the record, I find that the request

made by the learned Magistrate is reasonable.

Accordingly, the time for disposal of the case is enlarged

for a period of six months from the date of it's expiry.
