                                JUDGMENT

Dated this the 21st day of December, 2022

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing

counsel appearing for the respondents.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the

petitioner is a Senior Assistant Engineer who is fully qualified and eligible

for promotion to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer. Seeking the

same, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P8 representation before the 2 nd

respondent.

3. Having heard the learned standing counsel also, there will be a

direction to the 2nd respondent to take up, consider and pass orders on

Ext.P8 representation preferred by the petitioner after hearing the

petitioner also and after considering his contentions. Appropriate orders

shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a

copy of this judgment.

This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
