The learned counsel for the respondent University submits that the mercy chance already given as per Ext.P2 dated 18.8.2020 could not be availed or could not be conducted owing to the covid pandemic and now, the same is being contemplated to be held in November, 2021, subject to the covid pandemic. The petitioner can also submit his application, if found eligible.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to apply for the supplementary examination contemplated to be held in November, 2021, considering as the mercy chance.
