-2-
JUDGMENT
When this matter was called today, the learned
counsel appearing for respondent No.4 - Sri.Vipin
P.Varghese, submitted that the disputes between his
client and the petitioner has already been settled;
and that there are no issues now pending between them.
He added that his client has not and will not obstruct
any of the activities of the petitioner and,
therefore, prayed that this writ petition be closed.
2. Smt.Latha Anand - learned counsel for the
petitioner, submitted that she is not aware about any
settlement between the parties; but submitted that on
account of the interim order granted by this Court on
11.05.2021, there are now no obstructions caused by
the 4th respondent.
3. I notice from the file that the interim order
above referred to by Smt.Latha Anand, has been granted
as prayed for. The petitioner has prayed that
respondents 1 to 3 be directed to give adequate,
effective and timely police protection to them, their WP(C) NO. 11272 OF 2021
contractors and their willing workers, to carry on the
transportation contract of cattle feed from their
premises, without being obstructed by the 4th
respondent.
In the afore circumstance, I deem it appropriate
that this writ petition be ordered, confirming the
afore interim order; with a consequential direction to
respondents No.1 to 3 to intervene appropriately, as
per law, as and when any complaint is preferred before
them by the petitioner against any threat or
intimidation that may be meted out by them from any
source, including from the 4th respondent.
This writ petition is thus ordered.
