                                JUDGMENT

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to

consider and pass orders on Ext.P1 application filed seeking a temporary permit

under Section 87 (1) (c) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. It appears that

immediately after the filing of this writ petition, on 29-04-2021, the 1 st

respondent has issued an order bearing No.J3/60816/2021/Q rejecting Ext.P1

application. Considering the above, this writ petition is closed, reserving the

liberty of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 29-04-2021 in an

appropriate manner or to file an application for a fresh temporary permit if the

need shall exists. If such a fresh application is made, the same shall be

considered by the respondent, in accordance with law and the same shall be

disposed of after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
