                             JUDGMENT

Dated this the 6th day of January 2021

The grievance of the petitioner herein who is the owner

of KL 24S 8959, autorickshaw which is involved in Crime

No.3389 of 2020 of Kottarakara Police Station. She seeks

interim custody of the vehicle on a contention that the

vehicle was taken without her permission. The petitioner

laments that, even though the application is dated

25.08.2020 it has not been considered and not orders

passed.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and

the learned Government Pleader. I feel that the writ

petition itself can be disposed of with a direction to the first

respondent to take up Ext.P3 and pass an appropriate

order in accordance with law, on merits, as expeditiously

as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month

from the date of production of a copy of this judgment. WP(C).No.29219 OF 2020(B)

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
