                               JUDGMENT

The petitioner has preferred Ext.P3 application before the 3 rd

respondent seeking a correction of the entries in the Basic Tax Register

(BTR) pertaining to his land. The petitioner has also produced as Ext.P2

an order passed under Clause 6(2) of the Kerala Land Utilisation Order

permitting a change of the user of the land. The limited prayer at this

stage is for a direction to the 3 rd respondent to consider and pass orders

on the same, expeditiously, after hearing the petitioner.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the

respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case as

also the submissions made across the bar, I dispose the writ petition with

a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider Ext.P3 application in the

light of Ext.P2 order within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy

of this judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition

together with a copy of this judgment before the 3 rd respondent for

further action.
