                                   JUDGMENT

The petitioner has preferred an application, as evidenced by Ext.P6 receipt,

before the 2nd respondent for renewal of the building permit. The limited prayer of

the petitioner is for a direction to the 2 nd respondent to consider and pass orders

on the same expeditiously, after hearing the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned

Standing Counsel for the respondents.

On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the

submissions made across the Bar, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the

2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the application preferred by the

petitioner, as evidenced by Ext.P6 receipt, for seeking renewal of building permit,

within an outer limit of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this

judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the writ petition together with a

copy of this judgment before the 2nd respondent for further action.
