 WP(Crl.).No.44 OF 2021

                                 2

                           JUDGMENT

Dated this the 8th day of February 2021

K. Vinod Chandran, J.

The petitioners are the aunts of a 19 year old girl, who is

said to be missing from the custody of her father. There is no

case that she is in the illegal custody of anybody. A man-missing

case has been registered by both the petitioners and the father

of the missing girl. The police are carrying out investigation.

We do not think that there is any scope for a writ of habeas

corpus to be issued. The writ petition would stand closed

recording the observation that an investigation is being carried

out and if at all the missing girl is traced, the matter will be

informed to the petitioners as also her father, at the time of

production before the Magistrate.
