JUDGMENT
The vehicle with registration No.KL-42-G-1505 of belongs
the petitioners which was parked in the premises of the YMCA,
Kollam, Chinnakkada was taken into custody by the 2 nd
respondent - District Collector. Though the petitioners
approached the authorities for release of the vehicle, the vehicle
was not released. The petitioners have submitted Exts.P1 and
P6 representations before the 2nd respondent - District Collector
requesting to release the vehicle.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the
learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. The limited prayer of the petitioners is for direction to
the 2nd respondent - District Collector to consider Exts.P1 and
P6 requests of the petitioners to release the vehicle with
registration No.KL-42-G-1505, registered in the name of Deepak
Shah.S. The petitioners claim to be the legal heirs of Deepak
Shah.S.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, there will be
a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on
Exts.P1 and P6 representations submitted by the petitioners
after hearing them within a period of three weeks from the date
of receipt of a copy of the judgment. The petitioners shall
produce a copy of the writ petition with exhibits before the 2 nd
respondent along with the certified copy of the judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
