THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON
26.08.2021, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
 WPC 17262/21
                                      2

                            JUDGMENT

The petitioner alleges that a suo motu

proceedings has been initiated against her by the

1st respondent-Land Tribunal (Land Reforms),

Malappuram, as is evident from Ext.P1, as early as

on 26.06.2020; and that in spite of the fact that

more than twelve months have now elapsed, it has

not been finally decided. She, therefore, prays

that the 1st respondent be directed to dispose of

S.M.No.211/2021, within a time frame to be fixed

by this Court.

2. In response, the learned Special

Government Pleader - Sri.M.H.Hanilkumar, affirmed

that S.M.No.211/2021 is still pending before the

1st respondent and offered that same will be

disposed of within a period of six months, since

the petitioner is stated to be a senior citizen.

Taking note of the afore submissions, I allow WPC 17262/21

this writ petition directing the 1st respondent to

complete proceedings in S.M.No.211/2021, after

following due procedure and after affording an

opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and

other affected parties, if any, thus culminating

in an appropriate order thereon, as expeditiously

as is possible, but not later than six months from

the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
