Prayer for interim relief in the Writ Appeal stating that in the
circumstances stated in the appeal memorandum, the High Court be pleased
to stay the operation of the judgment dated 18.03.2021 in W.P.(C) No.17920
of 2020 of the Learned Single Judge, without any further delay, pending
final disposal of this writ petition (civil).
This Writ Appeal again coming on for orders along with connected
cases on 11.08.2021 upon perusing the appeal memorandum and this Court's
order dated 08.04.2021, the court on the same day passed the following:

Even though Mr. Harish Vasudevan, learned counsel for the
appellants in W.A. Nos. 756 and 607 of 2021, submitted that the issue
involved in these appeals is squarely covered by the decision of this
Court in George Joseph and others v. Bose Well John and others
reported in 2021 (1) KHC 609, Mr. V. Philip Mathews, learned counsel
for the appellant in W.A. No. 741 of 2021, disputed the said
contention.
2. Mr. Philip Mathews further submitted that the appellant in
W.A. No. 741 of 2021 has already submitted an application for trade
licence before the Panchayat. Appellants have taken up a Government
contract and therefore, seek early hearing of the matter. As
contentious issues are raised, the appeals are to be heard. Therefore,
registry is directed to post the matter on 31.08.2021.

Interim order granted by this Court on 8th April, 2021 in W.A. No.
