This Criminal Appeal is filed under Section 374(2) of
Cr.P.C., praying to allow the appeal by setting aside the
judgment and order dated 02.01.2014 passed by the Prl.
Sessions Judge, Bidar in Spl. Case. (P.C. Act) No.04/2009
convicting and sentencing the appellant for the offences
under Sections 7, 13(1)(d) R/w Section 13(2) of
Prevention of Corruption Act and acquit the appellant
accused of all the allegations.

This appeal coming on for Hearing, this day, the
Court delivered the following:
JUDGMENT
Even though Sri Rajesh G. Doddamani, learned
counsel is appointed as Amicus Curiae, Sri Shivanand V.
Pattanshetti, learned counsel for the appellant has filed a
memo reporting the death of the appellant enclosing copy
of the death certificate. As per the death certificate,
appellant-Prabhakar Bhaskar died on 19.10.2021.
The memo is placed on record.
Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed as abated.
