02/05.01.2026 I. A. No. 16871 of 2025 This Criminal Appeal has been filed by the appellant by challenging the judgment of conviction and sentence dated 26.11.2025 passed by Sri Yogesh Kumar, learned Special Judge C.B.I. Ranchi, in R.C. 05 (A)/2020-R by which the appellant has been convicted for the offence under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018) and sentenced to undergo R. I. for a period of three (3) years and to pay the fine of Rs. 10,000/-.

2. I. A. No. 16871 of 2025 has been filed under Section 430 (1) of the BNSS, 2023 on behalf of the appellant for confirmation of Provisional Bail granted by the learned Court below on 26.11.2025 for a period of Forty Five (45) days

3. Under the circumstances, provisional bail granted to the appellant by the learned Special Judge C.B.I. Ranchi in R.C. 05 (A)/2020-R is hereby confirmed.

4. Thus, I. A. No.16871 of 2025 is allowed and stands disposed of.
