2. Cont. Case (Civil) No. 784 of 2024 has been filed alleging violation of the judgment dated 19.05.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No. 1227 of 2011.

3. Cont. Case (Civil) No. 848 of 2023 has been filed alleging willful disobedience and deliberate violation of the judgment dated 19.05.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No. 6226 of 2011.

4. Cont. Case (Civil) No. 881 of 2023 has been filed alleging willful and conscience disobedience and non-compliance of the

judgment dated 19.05.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No. 6042 of 2015 and analogous cases.

The opposite party no. 2 was present in the Court at 10:30 a.m. and he had submitted in-person that appropriate petition seeking withdrawal of earlier show-cause and further show-cause regarding compliance of the order of this Court have already been filed. The learned counsels for the parties were not present at that point of time as the case was listed down below in the list. This Court permitted the opposite party no. 2 to leave the Court to attend his official work.

6. Learned counsel for the opposite party- State has submitted that three interlocutory applications being I.A. No. 13880 of 2025 in Cont. Case (Civil) No. 784 of 2024, I.A. No. 13882 of 2025 in Cont. Case (Civil) No. 848 of 2023 and I.A. No. 13595 of 2025 in Cont. Case (Civil) No. 881 of 2023 have been filed seeking withdrawal of the show-cause dated 18.09.2025 filed by the opposite party no. 2. He submits that in the interlocutory applications, specific statement has been made that in the show-cause dated 18.09.2025, the opposite party had made certain errors that need to be rectified and it has also been asserted that a fresh reasoned order in terms of the order dated 19.05.2023 passed in W.P.(S) No. 6042 of 2015 and other analogous cases will be passed.

7. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the opposite party- State has also submitted that the Cabinet decision has already come and the order passed by this Court has been complied. On instructions, the learned counsel has submitted that the admissible amount will be paid in terms of the resolution no. 3700 dated 07.10.2025 within a period of six weeks from today. He submits that such long time is being prayed for on account of intervening Diwali and Chhath festivals.

8. The undertaking given by the learned counsel for the opposite party is recorded as above and there can be no reason to resile from such an undertaking.

9. At this, learned counsel for the petitioners have submitted that in case there is any dispute in connection with quantum or if there is

any grievance with respect to the resolution no. 3700 dated 07.10.2025, the right may be reserved with the petitioners to take steps as may be permissible under law.

10. So far as the withdrawal of show-cause dated 18.09.2025 is concerned, the learned counsels have submitted that the same is essentially between the Court and the contemnor.

After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the fact that the order passed by this court appears to have been complied while passing the resolution no. 3700 dated 07.10.2025, this Court is not inclined to proceed any further in these contempt proceedings and consequently, contempt proceedings are hereby dropped.

12. Further, the interlocutory applications seeking withdrawal of the show-cause dated 18.09.2025 filed by the opposite party no. 2 being I.A. No. 13880 of 2025 in Cont. Case (Civil) No. 784 of 2024, I.A. No. 13882 of 2025 in Cont. Case (Civil) No. 848 of 2023 and I.A. No. 13595 of 2025 in Cont. Case (Civil) No. 881 of 2023 are also allowed.

13. However, it is observed that if the petitioners have any grievance in connection with the order contained in resolution no. 3700 dated 07.10.2025 or with regard to quantum which is found payable/paid pursuant to the aforesaid resolution, it will be open to them to take appropriate remedies as may be permissible in law. The undertaking of the opposite party that the admissible amount will be paid in terms of the resolution no. 3700 dated 07.10.2025 within a period of six weeks from today has already been recorded above.

14. All other pending interlocutory applications are also closed.
