1. The instant Interlocutory Application has been filed by

the wife of the appellant giving information regarding death of

her husband [appellant herein] in jail while serving sentence

in terms of judgment of conviction dated 14.02.2023 and

order of sentence dated 21.02.2023 and made a prayer to

enquire into the matter for the laches and negligence shown

by the jail authority, who did not provide treatment in time

resulting into death of the appellant as also made a prayer for

making compensation in lieu thereof.

2. Mr. Anup Pawan Topno, learned APP has been assigned

this matter, who will continue, however, this Court

considering the gravity of matter, insisted Mr. Pankaj Kumar,

learned Public Prosecutor to also assist this Court.

3. Upon this, learned counsel for the State has sought for

two weeks' time to file affidavit.

4. As prayed for list this case on 31.07.2025.

5. Let the name of Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned Public

Prosecutor, be also reflected in the daily cause list.
