I.A. No. 556 of 2025 This interlocutory application has been filed for confirmation of the provisional bail granted to the appellant after the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 19.12.2024, passed in connection with POCSO Case No. 64 of 2019 arising out of Chanho P.S. Case No. 73 of 2019, by Shri Asif Equbal, learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-IV-cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Ranchi, whereby and wherein, the appellant was held guilty for the offence under section 354 of Indian Penal Code and sentenced to undergo R.I for three years along with a fine of Rs. 10,000/-. In default of payment of fine, he was further directed to undergo imprisonment for six months.

2. Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant was all along on bail during the trial. It is further submitted that the appellant has been granted provisional bail after his conviction and sentence. It was finally submitted that there is no likelihood of this criminal appeal to be taken up for hearing in the near future.

3. Accordingly, the provisional bail granted to the appellant by the learned Trial Court vide order dated 19.12.2024 is hereby confirmed.

The aforesaid I.A. stands disposed of.
