1. Submission has been made on behalf of the applicant/appellant that appellant and informant/O.P. No.2 started residing separately and appellant got married and he is also blessed with a son. It is also submitted that the appellant is paying Rs.5,000/- as maintenance to the informant/O.P. No.2. It has been pointed out that appellant has preferred the present appeal against the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 29.02.2008 under Section 498-A IPC in S.T. Case No.75 of 2007 passed by Sri Sandeep Sharma, Additional District Judge, F.T.C.-VI, Jamshedpur, whereby the appellant was found guilty under Section 498-A IPC and directed to keep peace and good conduct for one year under Section 4 of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958 on furnishing two sureties of Rs. 5,000/-. It has also been submitted that applicant/appellant has already complied the direction given by trial court and as such, appellant does not want to proceed with the present appeal.

2. Such submission has been made in the presence of Mrs. Nehala Sharmin, learned Spl.P.P. for the State.

3. Considering the submission advanced on behalf of the appellant, I.A. No. 4607 of 2025 stands disposed of.

4. Accordingly, Criminal Appeal (S.J.) No. 470 of 2008 is dismissed as withdrawn.
