IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI
Cr. Appeal (D.B.) No. 352 of 2002
------
Sukhram Nayak .... .... .... Appellant
Versus
The State of Jharkhand .... .... .... Respondent
CORAM: SRI ANANDA SEN, J.
SRI GAUTAM KUMAR CHOUDHARY, J.
For the Appellant : Mr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, Advocate For the State : Mr. Azeemuddin, A.P.P.
------
08/ 21.10.2024 Learned counsel Mr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, who is advocate on record representing the appellant, submits that he had signed the vakalatnama because he was a junior counsel to the then learned counsel Mr. Jawahar Prasad, who is no more at present.
He further submits that now he is the counsel appointed by the State as APP, thus he is in dilemma whether to argue this appeal or not, though he is not the State counsel in this particular appeal. He submits that on merits he is ready to argue the appeal.
Considering the submission, since he is ready with the appeal, we allow him to argue on behalf of the appellant.
Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned counsel for the State at length.
Judgment is reserved.
