1) This application has been filed by the appellants seeking

condonation of delay of 220 days in filing this appeal challenging the

judgment dated 16.08.2023 passed in W.P. (S) No. 1729 of 2019 by

the learned Single Judge.

2) The cause-title of the appeal indicates that all the appellants are

senior citizens and they had been agitating their rights for over 30

years and they claim that they are residing at different places and

because of this, there was some delay in filing the appeal.

3) Having regard to the above circumstances, we are satisfied that

sufficient causes have been shown by the appellants for condoning

the period of delay in filing the appeal. Accordingly, this application is

allowed the delay in filing the appeal is condoned.

4) At the request of learned counsel for the appellants, list this

case on 28.01.2025.
