12/ 12.02.2024 The petitioner is claiming appointment as well as monetary benefit which has accrued to him due to death of his father on 19.12.1990.
Ms. Aditee Dongrawat, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the claim of the petitioner regarding appointment is not tenable in view of the celebrated judgment delivered in the case of Umesh Kumar Nagpal Vs. State of Haryana, reported in (1994) 4 SCC 138, as the petitioner has never made any application for appointment and he has knocked the door of this Court after 20 years Mr. Mahesh Tewari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that even if the petitioner has not made any representation regarding appointment, it was incumbent upon the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner in view of the latest judgment of the Division Bench of this Court. Learned counsel also submits that one post has to be kept reserved by way of live roaster, but the same was also not done.
However, no such judgment has been brought on record. Put up this case after two weeks.
