The main grievance of the petitioner is that while calculating the rent as well as penalty, various mistakes have been committed by the Additional Administrator, Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Ranchi- respondent no.3 in the impugned notice dated 13th June, 2023 (Annexure-14 to the writ petition). Moreover, while making such calculation, the said authority has also ignored the observation made in the judgment/order dated 19th August, 2020 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.1442 of 2020.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-RMC, however, prays for three weeks' time to seek instructions and file counter affidavit.

It is made clear that pendency of the writ petition shall not come in the way of the competent authority of the RMC to rectify the calculation made in the impugned notice dated 13th June, 203.
