Mr. Mokhtar Khan, the learned counsel for the appellant states that now on account of his conviction by the criminal Court the appellant has been dismissed from service.

The learned counsel for the appellant further submits that the appellant intends to explore possibility of some settlement, except on terms of making payment for final settlement.

Mr. Sidhartha Roy, the learned counsel for the respondent informs the Court that against the judgment of conviction the appellant filed criminal appeal which has also been dismissed and his criminal revision petition is pending before this Court.

The learned counsel for the respondent further submits that the respondent-wife is still willing to join her husband in the matrimonial home.

Post this matter on 16th November 2022.

In the meantime, if there is any settlement between the parties the same shall be brought on record by filing an affidavit.
