04 / 10.05.2022 Writ petition has been preferred for declaring the Jharkhand Entry Tax on Consumption or Use of Goods Act, 2011 as ultra vires the Constitution of India. Other ancillary relief (s) has also been prayed. Writ petition has been filed in view of the liberty granted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 7611/2017 and other analogous cases vide judgment dated March 22, 2017 and further by order dated 23.08.2017 passed in Civil Appeal Nos. 5343-5344/2010.

2. He submits that similar issues are pending before this Court in a batch of writ petitions led by W.P (T) No. 3775/2017. The instant matter may therefore be tagged with the said cases.

3. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, let the instant matter be also tagged with W.P (T) No. 3775/2017 and be listed before the appropriate Bench, as per the present distribution of roster.
