                                               ....

The matter was taken up through Video Conferencing. Learned counsels for the revisionist had no objection with it and submitted that the audio and video qualities are good.

....

02/02.03.2022 Heard learned counsel for the revisionist.

This revision application has been filed against the judgment dated 27.07.2020 passed by the learned Addl. Principal Judge, Addl. Family Court, Dhanbad in Original Maintenance No.500 of 2018, whereby the petitioner has been directed to pay maintenance of Rs.7,000/- per month to the O.P. No.2-the wife.

Learned counsel for the revisionist has assailed the quantum of maintenance stating that the income of the husband is Rs.7,000/- per month and the entire amount has been awarded as maintenance which is excessive and the revisionist is unable to pay the same.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and from perusal of impugned judgment, it appears that the marriage is not in dispute. Other factor has been decided in favour of the wife and it has been held that the wife is entitled for maintenance. So far as quantum of maintenance is concerned, the income of the husband has been assessed as Rs.50,000-60,000/- per month as he has running a shop and box factory in the name and style of Ranju Box and 8-10 workers are working there. This finding of fact has been recorded on the basis of competing evidence brought on record.

Considering the finding recorded by the court below and the reason assigned therein, this Court finds no reasonable reason to interfere with the judgment of the court below, accordingly, the present criminal revision is, hereby, dismissed.
