On 20th November 2017, the following order was passed by this Court:

"No one appears for the appellant. Counsel for the State is present. Earlier also the matter was adjourned at the behest of the appellant.

In fact, on the last date it was adjourned by way of last indulgence on the prayer made on behalf of the counsel for the appellant.

The appeal is of the year 2008 and arises out of the impugned judgment passed in W.P.(C) No.4491 of 2002.

In these circumstances, we can not allow further adjournment.

The appeal is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution."

2. Thereafter, this matter was listed on 7 th February 2022 on which date the following order was passed by this Court.

"Mr. Suresh Kumar, the learned State counsel seeks adjournment on the ground that he could not arrange the case records.

Post this matter under the same heading on 23rd February 2022.

In the meantime, the learned counsels for the parties shall file short synopsis, list of dates and notes of written arguments, if already not filed."

3. Mr. Birendra Kumar, the learned vice-counsel appears and seeks adjournment on the ground that "Ring Ceremony" of the daughter of Mr. Ranjan Kumar Singh, the learned counsel for the appellant, is fixed on

25th February 2022.

4. Post this matter on 15th March 2022 under the heading "Final Disposal".
