10/21.04.2022 Pursuant to the order dated 7th April 2022, learned counsel for the respondent has got instruction to the effect that the respondent is willing to participate in mediation proceedings at JHALSA.

Appellant is aggrieved by the dismissal of the Matrimonial Suit seeking divorce under Section 27(d) of the Special Marriage Act with the respondent on grounds of cruelty vide impugned judgment dated 14.12.2017 and decree dated 5.1.2018 passed in Matrimonial Suit No.38/2011 by the learned court of Additional Principal Judge, Additional Family Court, East Singhbhum at Jamshedpur. Both the parties reside at Jamshedpur. They are ready and willing to attend the mediation physically at JHALSA.

As such, let both the parties appear before the learned Member Secretary, JHALSA on 6th May 2022 at 10.30 am for participating in a mediation exercise. Learned Member Secretary, JHALSA can be approached on the following phone numbers also :-

On their appearance, matter be placed before the learned Mediator for undertaking the exercise. Both the parties are expected to cooperate in the mediation proceedings with open mind and attend each of the sittings. Appellant husband shall pay a sum of Rs.1250/- to the respondent towards traveling and incidental expenses on each date, she attends mediation, in presence of learned Mediator, JHALSA. If they are able to arrive at an amicable settlement, terms and conditions thereof be reduced in writing with their joint signatures by the learned Mediator, JHALSA and be submitted along with the report four weeks thereafter.

Let the matter be listed in the week of 20th June 2022 along with the report.
